We are delighted to welcome you to the new Deanby Centre Special School.

Deanby Centre Special School is a controlled special school for pupils aged 3-19 with severe learning difficulties. It will open in September 2024, initially for children from Nursery through to Key Stage 2.

At Deanby Centre Special School we will provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment, where every child will have a sense of belonging and acceptance. They will be valued members of our diverse and inclusive community. We will support each child to explore, discover and learn in a way that is meaningful and motivating for them, enabling them to celebrate success and have pride in their achievements.

We look forward to meeting you and your child and developing strong home/school partnerships. We will support and encourage all parents and carers to be actively involved in their child’s learning.
